Emotions of Racing

This year, the kit Rapha designed for me is based on emotions. More specifically, the emotions of racing. On the kit, each colour represents an emotion that I believe is key to a good racing mindset. Happiness, Calm, Excitement, Focus, Awareness, and agressivity. On this podcast series, I will sit down with different athletes to dig deep into each of these racing emotions; to discuss all sides of each emotions and try and learn from each of these great athletes.

Westfjords way challenge

This week, Maghalie and David are racing at the Westfjords Way Challenge, in Iceland. The route is 960km long, and the race will happen over 4 stages of more or less 225-250km. This will be the first time that both Maghalie and David do an ultra-endurance race. Throughout the event, we will share daily short episodes about our experience. We will also discuss with different participants of the race to hear their stories, and with local Icelandic people to learn about their culture.

Sustainability in cycling

The bicycle has the power to be an important tool in our global fight against climate change . Yet, racing our bikes across the world clearly has a negative impact on the environment. For years, Maghalie has felt a guilt towards this paradox. In this series, she decides to investigate what she can do as an athlete, and what we can do as an industry, to diminish our impact on the environment. — This podcast series is supported by The Unscented Company.
